in this exhibition, vala explores the balance of opposites: chaos and order, instinct and intellect, freedom and control.

through the reimagining of the minotaur — an ancient creature caught between the human and the beast — vala reflects his own artistic journey.

his practice merges untamed, expressive marks,  with precise calculated forms, embodying the tension between raw impulse and restraint.

 

the title introduces a playful yet profound twist: the minotaur is transformed by a drink. ​this simple act becomes a metaphor for the unpredictable nature of creation, where spontaneity can unravel control, and instinct can blur into intention.

 

vala invites the viewer to witness this delicate interplay between freedom and discipline, a reflection of both his art and the complexities of human nature.
